About Anika
My journey into programming began with a simple curiosity—how could instructions written in plain text control powerful machines? Over eight years, I’ve nurtured that curiosity into a career dedicated to teaching the logic and beauty of coding. I’ve had the privilege of working with students from varied academic and professional backgrounds, each with different motivations and goals. Helping them grasp complex concepts through patience, clarity, and creativity is what I love most about teaching. My teaching approach is structured yet flexible. I adapt lessons to meet learners at their current level, blending conceptual explanation with hands-on experimentation. I emphasize practical projects and debugging as essential tools for mastery, encouraging students to learn by building and exploring. Outside of teaching, I continue to study new programming languages and technologies to keep my lessons fresh and relevant. For me, programming is more than just technical skill—it’s an evolving form of expression and problem-solving. Watching my students grow into confident, capable programmers who see coding as an empowering craft is what drives my passion to teach every single day.

Each class balances theory with practice, guiding learners through the process of turning logical ideas into working programs. I focus on developing both technical understanding and creative problem-solving, ensuring students can confidently navigate any coding challenge. Lessons emphasize real-world relevance, showing how programming drives innovation in today’s world.
Beginners start by learning syntax, variables, loops, and conditionals, primarily in Python or C++. Intermediate learners advance into algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming. Advanced students explore application development, databases, and even introductory machine learning. Each lesson includes coding exercises, project work, and debugging practice to build independence and confidence. I also help students prepare for assessments, interviews, and coding competitions.
Beyond coding skills, programming lessons cultivate logical thinking and adaptability. Students learn to break down complex problems, think algorithmically, and approach challenges with patience and strategy. Many have created their own software projects or pursued further studies in computer science.
