About Ryan
Hello! My name is Ryan, and I am a computer science and philosophy student and the University of Toronto. I always enjoyed helping my friends and classmates in studying for our tests, which led me to volunteering for a year as a tutor for high school students. I hope to be able to help you learn and excel in your courses!

My teaching style: I prefer to approach teaching with a gentle but stern hand, guiding students from confusion to confidently being able to explain the concept on their own. I guide students by first learning your understanding of the concept, and then helping make precise corrections to your understanding through various methods like working through example problems.
My teaching methodology: I teach best by first explaining the concept with an example, encouraging you to ask as many questions as needed to clear up any misunderstanding. We would then work through problems together to solidify your understanding.
What sets me apart? My patience and willingness to try new ways of teaching to help my tutees.
Who are my lessons for? They're best for high school students or first year college and university students studying either a math, computer science, or logic course. In particular, if you are taking introductory calculus, computer science, programming in Python, or a course on logic, please reach out!
