About Shahid
I am a Computer Science graduate based in Nottingham, UK, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Information Technology. I have a background in web development and have worked on real projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
I am originally from Pakistan where I studied and worked as a developer before moving to the UK to further my education and career. This journey has given me a deep understanding of what it feels like to learn something completely new in a challenging environment — which makes me a more patient, empathetic, and effective tutor.
I am passionate about technology and genuinely enjoy helping others understand it. I believe that anyone can learn to code with the right guidance and the right pace. I never make students feel rushed or embarrassed for not knowing something — every question is a good question.
Outside of technology I enjoy problem solving, continuous learning, and helping people achieve their goals. Teaching is something I find deeply rewarding because seeing a student understand a concept they previously found impossible is one of the most satisfying experiences there is.
I look forward to working with students of all backgrounds and levels across Nottingham and online.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Information Technology. I specialise in teaching programming, web development, and computer science concepts to complete beginners and intermediate learners of all ages.
My teaching approach is patient, practical, and personalised to each student's pace and goals. I do not rush through topics — I make sure each concept is fully understood before moving forward. I use real examples, hands-on coding exercises, and clear explanations to make even difficult topics feel simple.
Each session is typically one hour long and structured around the student's specific needs — whether that is building confidence from scratch, completing coursework, preparing for an exam, or learning practical coding skills for a career change.
I am available for online sessions seven days a week with flexible scheduling to suit busy students and working adults. I am also available for in-person sessions across Nottingham and surrounding areas for students who prefer face-to-face learning.
Topics I cover include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and general computer science theory.
Whether you are a complete beginner who has never written a line of code or someone who needs help understanding a specific concept — I will meet you exactly where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
