About George
I am a grduate of the University of Ottawa with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. I've got two younger brothers, which is actually how I first figured out that I love to tutor. I would learn something new in class and just start teaching it to them irrelevant of whether they wanted to learn or not. They weren't huge fans of the arrangement but it's what has led me to succeed in academics; the ability to think through the process out loud and to try and teach it to someone else.

These lessons are mainly for students completing their high school education in Ontario taking Math or Computer Science at the College or University level.
As someone who graduated high school with a 97% average, and spent the last 4 years earning a dual degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, I believe I am qualified to ensure that you end up with an excellent understanding of whatever course you need help with.
A typical lesson would begin with you telling me what it is that you don't understand. If you don't know what that is yet, don't worry. I will look over the material with you and figure out where you get stuck. We will then go through some sample problems, where I will allow you to think out loud, try and solve the problem alone, and guide you through areas where you may not understand exactly how to proceed.
I have worked with tens of students between the ages of 7 and 17, many of which began with no interest in mathematics, and have helped them improve their marks by up to 20%, and I believe I can do the same for you.

George is a friend of mine who helped me out back when we were in Advanced Functions together.
He's really good at breaking down the material and explaining it in little bite-sized pieces of information. He doesn't give you the answer straight up, he lets you try it out for yourself and guides you as you go. I found this approach really useful since it made me think through the work rather than just quickly writing down the answers and moving on without learning anything.
If you need someone to help you ACTUALLY learn something, for sure go with George.George is an excellent tutor. He helped me through Calculus and Vectors back when I'd been getting a 64%, after his help I was able to get my marks up, ending the year with an 86%, and more importantly I started to actually enjoy calculus. It stopped being a chore and I was really interested in the material. 10/10, would recommend.
