About Fatima-Zahra
I am a computer science & mathematics student, I work in the IT department at my university. I have voluntarily tutored high school seniors in Morocco for their final exam. Two of them ended up getting 18/20 on math, which led them to get a full ride in a top university in the Middle East World Al Akhawayn University

As a student, I get bored of long lectures, and I always end up zoning out promising myself I will go over the material at home. When I'm alone I catch myself going right to the exercises because I really don't want to read the course. Yet, that leads me to miss important concepts in the course.
My approach to teaching students is to inquire a diverse set of exercises that will give me a chance to first explain how the theorem works and also give them a hands-on experience of how and when to use it and the rules and hints that lead us to use this theorem instead of the other. That way I get rid of the old fashioned lecture session, and the students feel like they control there own education and by the end of the hour, they have a quantitive result of what they achieved and what concepts they should focus on more.
