About Oskar
I graduated with top grades in Maths, Biology, Computer Science, Economics and Physics and am now enrolled as a Computer Science student at the University of Manchester. I began tutoring 3 years ago and started with GCSE students, finding that many students, despite having the innate ability to comprehend the material, simply did not have the ability to put that understanding to use in exam conditions. Therefore my tutoring focus is to allow students to not only understand the material but how to solve exam problems with that knowledge too.

I have been tutoring GCSE for 3 years and recently began A-Level and AP tutoring. My teaching approach focuses on setting a strong foundational understanding of the course material in order to build upon it with exam technique so that my students can achieve top grades no matter their original skill level. I prefer to teach 2 hour lessons as opposed to 1 as it ensures time to both create that foundational understanding of the lesson topic and gain some understanding of how to approach those problems. I find these lessons to be far more effective than the average single hour lesson which leaves students with their knowledge untested and therefore less likely to be remembered. I teach children of all skill levels from GCSE through to A-level, IB and AP, specialising in STEM related subjects.
