About Ty
I have completed 5 years of study at the University of Victoria in computer science. Aside from graduating with a bachelors degree in computer science, I have also taken it upon myself to offer my services to tutor in the past at a highschool level, primarily in math. I am also currently looking into applying for my PDP and achieving a career in teaching.

I generally prefer one-on-one sessions at a high-school level, however I am open to groups. I consider my methods to have a particular focus on establishing competancy, achieving fluency, and then reaching profound unstanding in a topic. I dissect problems and teach my students to do the same, passing on strategies and techniques. But more than anything, the primary focus of of my sessions is to reach that 'aha' moment, where the core concepts click.
