About Ernest
My tutoring sessions will focus on taking something the student is struggling with and breaking this down to make clear the process that has to be followed, in order to reach the solution. I guarantee improvement with my methods of teaching. I have a calm, friendly approach and have many unique ways of breaking down difficult concepts into smaller manageable chunks that make sense. If you are finding Computing difficult or need to brush up on it, then you do not need to look any further, you have found the right person for the job. As a Computer Science tutor and former Software Developer I am very passionate about learning and believe that the best way of learning is by doing. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. With many years of hands-on teaching experience and a strong academic background (both a degree and a Masters), with this I am well-equipped to help students of all levels succeed in the field of computer science. I hope to show you that Computing, while it can be hugely challenging at times, can be very fulfilling and rewarding! I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive.
I can coach you through your computer science assignments and help you build an intuitive approach to problem-solving through fun, interactive classes and projects. I will help you tackle the specific problems that you, as an individual learner, are facing. The length of a typical lesson will last for 1 hour where I teach Secondary students preparing for their GCSE's.
