About Decide

My name is Decide and I am a dedicated, patient and approachable tutor who enjoys helping learners understand concepts clearly and become more confident in their studies.

I hold a National Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology and have practical experience working as an Educator Assistant, where I supported educators and learners with their day-to-day activities. This experience helped me develop patience, communication skills and an understanding of how learners may have different needs and learning styles.

My tutoring approach is friendly, supportive and structured. I first identify the areas a learner finds challenging and then explain the concepts step by step using simple explanations and practical examples. I encourage learners to ask questions and participate actively rather than simply memorising information.

A typical lesson includes reviewing previous work, introducing the topic, working through examples together and allowing the learner to practise independently with my guidance. I provide constructive feedback and adjust my approach according to the learner's pace and level of understanding.

I am proficient in English and can conduct lessons in English. My lessons are aimed at learners who need additional academic support, assistance with difficult topics, homework support, or preparation for tests and examinations.

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where learners feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving their skills. I believe that with patience, encouragement and the right support, every learner can make progress.
