My teaching is built on three pillars: technical mastery, creative arrangement, and professional production. Unlike traditional methods that focus solely on reading black dots on a page, I teach "Cinematic Fluency." This means developing your ear so you can play anything you hear, your theory so you understand the "why" behind epic movie themes, and your technique so you can execute powerful, concert-level arrangements.
A Typical 60-Minute Lesson Plan:
Warm-up & Ear Training (10 mins): We start by sharpening your ears—learning to identify complex chord progressions and melodic intervals found in soundtracks.
Core Repertoire & Technique (30 mins): We dive into a piece you love (from Interstellar to Beethoven). I teach you the specific hand positioning and "orchestral" touch required to make a single piano sound like a full symphony.
The "Epic" Arrangement Workshop (20 mins): We take a simple melody and I show you my personal "Musicnotes" secrets to thicken the harmony, add cinematic rhythm, and create a "signature" version of a song.
