About Simone
I have always enjoyed studying and teaching, and of course I am passionate about physics and science in general. The research I am dealing with about new superconducting materials, that is, materials that do not waste any energy when they conduct electricity. Very interesting both from the scientific point of view and from the technological and environmental one!
I currently live in Rome, where I returned after finishing my PhD. In my spare time I enjoy reading science fiction books, playing strategy games of various genres, and playing the guitar.

I don't have a set schedule, because I think each student's needs and difficulties are different. The first thing I will do when we meet is ask you a few questions to understand together what goal we need to achieve, and how much time we have to achieve it. On this occasion it is essential to have on hand the course program, and even better the recommended books! Then we will make a rough study plan, scheduling our meetings and the topics to address in each meeting.
I expect you to be independent in your study. In each lesson we will look at the key points of the topic, and I will give you exercises or pointers on where to find them. We will discuss them at the beginning of the next lesson (along with a few questions) to verify that you understand the topics of the previous one. When there is an opportunity, I also like to spice up a lesson with some anecdote or curiosity about how the topics covered appear in everyday life.
Hopefully, this way you will learn not only the topics themselves, but also how to study.
