My teaching methodology is centered on creating an engaging, student-focused learning environment where sustainability principles are not just taught, but experienced. I believe in a hands-on, interactive approach that goes beyond theory, incorporating real-world case studies, simulations, and projects that allow students to apply sustainability concepts directly. My classes are structured around a mix of short lectures, and guided discussions to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Each session is designed to ensure that students actively participate, share their perspectives, and challenge conventional ideas about sustainability.
The typical class structure includes a brief introduction to the topic, followed by an engaging discussion or case study analysis, and wrap-up with reflection questions to ensure deep understanding. I use a variety of learning tools, including digital platforms for collaborative work, sustainability-focused videos, and online resources, ensuring that the learning process is accessible, engaging, and flexible.
