About Jessie
I studied Irish from when I started primary school at 5 years old all the way up until my leaving cert at 18. I studied higher level Irish for the leaving cert and I had a fairly good level throughout school.
As I'm from Dublin I'd be much more familiar with Connemara or Kerry Irish rather than any of the dialects from Northern Ireland.
I'd love to use it more but I don't often find the opportunities so I thought this might be a good way to keep it up that would help other people too.

I won't pretend that I'm fluent in Irish but I have quite a good standard and would love to use it more.
I'd love to connect with people who are learning Irish and give them the opportunity to have a low-stakes comhrá in a supportive environment with someone who has a passion for the language.
My only qualifications are the 13 years I spent learning it in school, my summer spent in the gaeltacht and my general love for the language. There's bound to be stuff I don't know but we can learn together if that happens!
These are perfect for anyone who wants to get a bit of practice in and the first 30 minutes with me will be free so you're welcome to hop on and decide whether I'm a good fit/level for you and no hard feelings if I'm not!

I have always been interested in animation but was very new to the practical side. I had minimal experience. Jessie helped me understand the importance of learning the basics and over time I started creating things I never thought I'd be able to make. Great tutor, couldn't recommend anyone better!
