About Simone
I have worked as a Private Tutor for around 6 years and worked 1:1 with students with additional learning needs. I have since worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school, providing support to students who struggle in class, abs also carrying out small group interventions. I have since become a Cover Supervisor and hence teach across the curriculum up to GCSE level andI make it my responsibility to keep up to date with what is being taught. I am in my final year of a maths degree with the Open University, and hope to begin my teacher training in September 2022. I’d love to help students who lack confidence and feel they could do with some extra support.

I tailor each lesson to the student it is designed for. I strive to make my lessons fun and memorable, to help students make progress without them realising it. My aim is to build confidence amongst my students.
I will always start my first lesson getting to know the student, how they learn and what it is they need support with. After that lesson I will go away and make a plan for lessons with that student which will help them achieve their goals, which is reviewed regularly.
