About Norsalina
Hello! My name is Norsalina, and I am passionate about art and teaching. I believe that art is not just a skill; it is a powerful form of self-expression that can enrich our lives and connect us with others.
From a young age, I have always been drawn to creativity and the visual arts. Whether it was painting, drawing, or exploring different artistic mediums, I found joy and fulfillment in expressing myself through art. This passion led me to pursue formal education in the arts, where I honed my skills and deepened my understanding of various techniques and styles.
I want to teach because I believe in the transformative power of art. I have witnessed firsthand how art can boost confidence, encourage critical thinking, and foster a sense of community. My goal as a tutor is to create a safe and inspiring environment where students feel free to explore their creativity and develop their artistic talents. I want to help others discover their unique voice and potential through art, just as I have.

I find great joy in seeing my students grow, gain confidence, and express themselves through their artwork. Techniques and Teaching Methodology

Hands-On Practice: I emphasize practical, hands-on experience. Each lesson incorporates activities that allow students to experiment with various mediums, such as drawing, painting, and mixed media. This approach helps solidify concepts and techniques in a fun and engaging way.
Constructive Feedback: I provide constructive feedback throughout the lessons, guiding students on how to improve while celebrating their successes. This encourages them to take risks and learn from their mistakes, fostering a growth mindset.
Art History and Theory: I introduce relevant art history and theory, enriching the learning experience and providing context for the techniques we explore. Understanding the background of different art movements can inspire students and deepen their appreciation for the arts.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor
I have been teaching art for two years at Siniseni Artstudio, where I have successfully guided students of various ages and skill levels. My experience includes:

Organizing art exhibitions to showcase student work, enhancing their confidence and community involvement.
