About Laura
I am a graduate of Creative and Professional Writing (2.1) from the University of The West of England and have published a YA Mystery Fiction novel in 2019. I think a lot about storytelling and structure in the theatrical work I make. Even when I’m writing a piece of web copy. As an academic, I studied narrative structures and narrative arcs, and the various impacts these can take depending on their shape. I spend my days reading novels, poems and short stories and critiquing them and seeing the building blocks of what makes a great and engaging piece of writing.
