About Anne
I am a singing tutor with more than 13 years of experience, specialising in helping college students discover their full vocal potential. My approach combines technical mastery with creative expression. I teach breath control, pitch accuracy, tone, vocal agility, and expressive interpretation, ensuring students develop both skill and artistry.
I use interactive and innovative teaching methods such as improvisation exercises, recording feedback, and performance practice. Lessons are personalised to match the student’s strengths, goals, and learning style, making learning effective and enjoyable.
Performance skills are central to my teaching. I help students build confidence, stage presence, and expressive delivery, preparing them for recitals, competitions, and auditions. I also integrate music theory and ear training to support students’ understanding of the music they perform.
I encourage creativity and self-expression by exploring different genres and developing students’ individual style. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, encouragement, and accountability.
My goal is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and skilled singers who enjoy the journey of musical growth while achieving their personal goals.

My teaching approach to Singing is learner-friendly and structured. I use clear communication to explain vocal techniques such as breathing, pitch accuracy, tone balance, and voice projection. I make sure students understand how their voice works and feel comfortable asking questions.
Creativity is encouraged in every session. I use creative vocal exercises, warm-ups, and song interpretation to help students explore their natural voice. Students are guided to express emotions confidently and develop their own singing style.
Cultural sensitivity is an important value in my teaching. I respect each student’s musical background and welcome songs from different cultures and languages. This helps students feel accepted and motivated.
Accountability is maintained through clear learning goals, regular practice routines, and continuous feedback. I track progress and guide improvement. Along with singing, I also teach basic music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and voice care.
