About Gemma
I have worked as a freelance photographer since 2012. I have a First Class Honours Degree in Creative Media Practice, specialising in photography, and a PGCE. I currently work at an Arts College, working with and supporting students on a daily basis. I have been private tutoring for over a year now, and I am now expanding the sessions that I offer. Having worked as a learning support assistant and in my current roles, I continually support learners with a variety of needs. I have recently supported several severely dyslexic students who have found passion in creative media; a subject that they can have freedom with and really enjoy.

From working in a college, there are so many ways to teach a subject. The way I prefer to teach is to have hands on tasks and let you experiment, making mistakes and then I can demonstrate ways to work around these. I also like to have visual handouts for you to work alongside with.
If there is a specific way you feel you learn best, I am happy to adapt to your needs!
