About Dr Noel
I have been writing and teaching for almost twenty years. I have optioned several feature screenplays, written for print and online, and worked with many writers as an editor and ghostwriter. I have taught Creative Writing for summer courses and short courses with Oxford University where I designed and delivered classes in Biography, Script Writing, Novel Writing and Getting Started as a Creative Writer. I am also the lead tutor for Immersive Tales. I deliver creative writing programmes across the UK and am currently writing a creative writing teaching manual to be accredited in the UK. Right now I am travelling across Europe while I complete a nonfiction book in the wellness space. I believe it is important for any teacher to be engaged in the craft of writing to better empathise with the process of creating original work and to be a part of that process alongside the student.

I work closely with writers to help them achieve their goal of publication. This might be long or short form projects across any medium, but the process is always pedagogical in nature. We work as a team exploring the various narrative devices available to a writer such as structure, voice, narrative point of view, plot arc, and style. I have worked closely with students who are completing a novel, or beginners who are hoping to learn about the craft of writing. I have been teaching in this field for almost twenty years, and I love the process of getting to know and help aspiring writers. It is a personal journey and very fulfilling for both parties. I am fortunate enough to have experience in multiple genres and mediums, so I feel confident I can help any aspiring writer achieve their creative goals and grow through dedicated practice and attention to the craft.
