About Jasmine
I'm a young and experienced World History and English Language Arts teacher who has many years of experience working with children and helping them with language acquisition and information retention. I have such a passion for literacy and media literacy. I have worked with students from various backgrounds and different levels of performance, so I am confident the first session can give me a clear understanding of where your student is at in their English subject and how I could help support.
All that being said, I believe that my Master of Arts in Teaching Single Subjects History and English really give me the additional confidence in my abilities and skills to educate and support students in English.

To say briefly, each lesson is developed based on the child's abilities and mainly focused on support for school work during the school year. I go ahead and level check the student during my free session to check at what English level they are at so that I can curate the following lessons!
To reiterate, most lessons will be on general homework help, test prep, as well as, review make up a typical base lesson plan. If needed, I can provide additional work to be assigned and supervised as necessary. Every class is taught according to the student's needs at the time, whether that be essay writing or reading comprehension.
Throughout the lessons, parent communication and involvement is strongly encouraged!
