Not only am I a teacher, but I am a mom of three children ranging in ages from 15-20 and a pet mom to 2 dogs and 2 cats (all of whom were rescue animals). I love my job as a teacher but I also love my time off. I am a fan of live performances (concerts, theater, comedy) and I like to spend my time out in nature with my family and friends.

I am a credentialed math teacher with a strong background in teaching students at various levels, from elementary through high school. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Sacramento, and have taught elementary school for six years before specializing in high school mathematics. Since 2010, I have been teaching Integrated Math II (IM2) for an online high school, where I guide students through key topics like quadratic expressions, functions, geometry, and trigonometry. My experience spans a wide range of subjects, including elementary math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and Integrated Math I, II, and III. With my expertise in IM2, I help students deepen their understanding of algebraic and geometric concepts while linking them to real-world applications. I focus on creating connections between probability, data, and decision-making processes, as well as exploring the relationships between linear, quadratic, and exponential functions. Through this approach, I aim to make math engaging and accessible, ensuring that my students develop both the skills and confidence to succeed in their coursework. Whether you're struggling with foundational math or advanced topics like trigonometry and statistics, I am here to help you build a solid mathematical foundation. I love teaching math and watching students light up when they make connections and learn new things.
