About Samantha
Hi! My name is Sam and I love to read and write. In university, I read A LOT about super complicated topics (ex. criminal law, politics, human culture, etc.). In addition to reading, I have to write argumentative essays about those topics.
Personally, I love learning about new things, so I would love to help a fellow student succeed in their learning journey.

I take a personalized approach to tutoring; I'll review the work the student has done in class and ask them what makes sense and what doesn't make sense, and try to see where the disconnect is occurring. From there, strengthening and building the student's existing skills is easy. For students learning to write paragraphs and essays (Grades 4-12), I can provide lots of advice as I am an experienced essay writer after doing four years of various courses in the social sciences. I even had one Teaching Assistant compliment me on how well I structured an essay whereas he had to give the rest of the class mini writing lessons.
