About Chetana
Hi, I'm Chetana—a Criminology and Criminal Justice MSc graduate from the University of Glasgow, awarded with Distinction. I’m passionate about teaching and supporting students in understanding complex social issues. I bring both strong academic knowledge and real-life experience, having worked in multiple internship settings involving vulnerable individuals. My goal is to help students feel confident, inspired, and capable of applying theory to real-world contexts. I believe learning should be engaging, inclusive, and tailored to each student's unique goals and challenges.

I offer a supportive, structured, and discussion-based approach to tutoring. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s goals—whether it's improving academic writing, understanding theory, or applying real-world case studies. In my lessons, I cover a broad range of topics within criminology and social justice, including juvenile justice, gender-based violence, crime and media, the criminal justice system, and the refugee and immigration process. I aim to make each session relevant, thought-provoking, and tailored to the individual needs of my students. I prioritise open communication with both students and parents, and I strongly encourage questions, active discussions, and honest feedback. Together, we’ll work towards both academic success and personal growth, while connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world understanding. With experience working in internship settings that supported vulnerable individuals, I bring empathy and clarity to complex topics. My goal is to help students gain both academic confidence and critical insight.
