About Hamish
I have spent the last 3 Winter seasons skiing, instructing and training at Whistler Blackcomb, the Mecca of alpine skiing and training in Canada. I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the top Level 4 Instructors and examiners and greatly develop my understanding behind the technical aspects of skiing.

My teaching method is based on a practical approach and understanding, with the objective of skiing in the most efficient and effective way possible.
For Big mountain skiing I focus on a technical and tactical approach. This includes surveying, understanding the mountains and making decision in high consequence terrain.
For technical alpine skiing I focus on a technical and bio-mechanical approach. Using the Canadian Ski methodology of building a strong skier from the ground up. I look at creating strong body positions in relation to forces created through the terrain.
