About Jasmine
I am a current third year medical student and I love to teach. While being at medical school I have taught and mentored medical students in lower years, and this has been both for written exams and clinical exams (OSCEs). In addition to teaching other students and outside of medical school privately tutoring, I have received teaching on how to teach, feedback and assessment. Whilst this is in a medical context, I have the skills and adaptability to use my knowledge of education and teaching more generally, so I am confident in my ability to tutor up to A-Level standards. Professionalism is a really important attribute to me and I try to uphold it always; it is fundamental in my chosen career and I can reassure you that I will treat you as my student in a professional way, being friendly and with respect for your individual learning needs. It matters to me that you get what you want/need to out of my lessons and also overall in your future!

I tailor my lessons to you as an individual. By finding out how you learn best, I will be as receptive as possible and adapt my teaching accordingly. I prefer to be as visual and practical as possible in my teaching, giving you practical and relevant concrete examples so you can understand and apply the information, not just rote-learn it. My lessons will be an hour in length, I can teach students from year 10 and above preparing for their GCSEs/A-Levels/University applications. I have tutored for at least 5-6 years, mentoring students in school and privately. I have tutored privately in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and I have given talks on how to get into medicine at local secondary schools. I am additionally passionate about drama and I have LAMDA Grade 8 qualifications in acting, so if you're looking for exam preparation for LAMDA I can offer lessons for that specifically at a reduced rate.
