My Approach to Tutoring As a tutor, I focus on creating an engaging and personalised learning experience tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals. Typical Lesson Length Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, ensuring we have sufficient time to cover the material in depth while maintaining focus and energy. However, I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length to meet the needs of my students. Qualifications and Experience I bring a wealth of experience and proven academic success to my tutoring: • Achieved top GCSE grades, including 9s in Physical Education and Religious Education, and 8s in English Literature, English Language, and Geography. • Served as a team leader and mentor in various roles, including captaining sports teams and working on community projects, showcasing my ability to teach and motivate others. • Volunteered for 2 years with a domestic violence organisation, gaining skills in communication, empathy, and mentorship. • Won a national poetry prize, demonstrating creativity and excellence in written expression.
