About Sabine
I am currently majoring in Biology at Texas A&M. I graduated high school summa cum laude with an International Baccalaureate diploma centered around science. I got a 6 on the Higher Level IB Biology exam (which contained 2 years’ worth of content compared to the Standard Level exam which only had one year’s worth of content) and am comfortable with both the chemical and theoretical sides of biology. I favor microbiology and cellular biology, but I am familiar and comfortable with all the various facets of biology taught in both regular and high-level high school biology courses.

I primarily focus on the why and how when explaining biology and its processes. Usually, I work my lessons around a concept that the student is struggling with or I can go over an entire unit to help cement understanding. My lesson plans tend to be very flexible because I understand that a student could need lots of help with one thing, but only a quick review with another. As such, I aim to base my lessons on the needs of my student. I can also make suitable phrases and mental tools to help remember hard to grasp or confusing details. I am excellent with visual learners because I can draw easy to read diagrams and can come up with many explanations to help students understand concepts.

I know her from class, she was basically my tutor in there lol.
She was always able to help me and the people around her with whatever problems we had, and would base her answers around what we had already known. Super easy to understand, sometimes it felt better to hear what she had to say over the professor!
