I am going to be a sophmore at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and I have just taken many introductory and higher level math and science courses that I have excelled in. I know what it is like to be a student and I know what teachers look for. I can teach math up to the calculus level and high school and college level physics and chemisty.

I like to teach others by showing people ways to understand concepts that typically are not shown in a classroom. There are multiple ways to approach problems and teachers usually only show their favorite way. My hope is that my students willbe able to look at problems they have never seen before and be able to solve them by understanding what they are doing not just going through a check list of steps to arrive at an answer.
