About Lauren
As a student myself I was petrified to ask for help or admit that an explanation didn't make sense. Now, as a tutor, I aim to create real and lasting knowledge in an safe environment where it is easy to ask for help.
During my previous summers I worked as a soccer coach, so I understand how to create learning and also navigate feelings for students of all ages and abilities.

I am a current college student who tutors through creating conceptual understandings in a relatable way. Instead of memorizing templates for solving problems I create lasting understandings and conceptual logic skills for problem solving.
I know what it is like to be frustrated, and I treat all my students as though they are equals and their understanding is paramount.
My lessons are for any ability level of student for all ages through high school. I focus mainly on science and math, but I am open to other subjects as well.
