Hi, I am currently a first year dental student and I'd like to share my journey with mathematics, where initially, I encountered some challenges. Hi! I'm Suzana and I'm a dental student offering maths and science tuition for students in Year 2 to Year 11 (roughly age 6-16). I completed my GCSEs and received 9s and 8s across all my subjects and I have studied A-level Maths, Chemistry and Biology.
As a dedicated and caring mathematics tutor, my commitment to fostering a positive learning experience is reflected in my teaching approach. I believe in tailoring my methods to suit the unique needs of each student, recognising that everyone learns differently. By personalising my teaching style, I ensure that the material is not only comprehensible but also engaging for the individual student. One of my key strengths lies in providing step-by-step solutions and breaking down complex mathematical problems into manageable components. I will ask for a list of topics that your child would like to work through and plan lessons accordingly. If some skills are similar or interlinked, I will be putting those lessons consecutively since it will help your child put what they have learned into more context. I believe that this will help them become a better student by allowing them to look at questions and content with a wider view, which will help when difficulty increases.
