About Erya
I am a Chinese student who studies Education at the University of Birmingham. I finished the IB course in May and had been awarded bilingual diploma (both Chinese and English). I got a 6 in my "Chinese A: Literature" module and this could be an "A" or "A*" in a relevant A-level course.
I had tutored two students for their Chinese literature module back in China last year, and they both got quite high prediction scores for their exams (they do not have final scores since they have not yet graduated).

My teaching will be vivid and fun. When people learn Chinese the language, they also know more about Chinese culture. My potential students could be anyone who is interested in learning Mandarin Chinese and wants to improve their oral or written expression skills.
Depending on the students' levels, the lessons will be set out differently. For oral practice, it could be constructing a simple conversation in Chinese, or holding a personal view of a short story (which is related to Chinese culture). For written practice, it might be as simple as writing down the vocabulary we learned during classes, or as fantastic as writing a short expression based on a cartoon. Doesn't it sound exciting!
