About Cadey
I am South African, but moved to Australia 7 years ago and completed high school here. I began my tutoring journey by volunteering at the extra math help during lunchtimes. Here I picked up my first student whilst I was in year 11 and have been tutoring privately ever since. Whether it's helping a year three through NAPLAN or a year 12 through their final exams, I've done it all. I love my subjects and love sharing not only the content but also little tips and tricks for exam and assignment seasons. Learning should be fun! I hope that throughout our sessions we can laugh together and smile, all whilst increasing your grades and understanding of the topics.

I offer online tutoring to fit nicely into a busy schedule. With classes over zoom and the use of interactive software, these lessons are more engaging than if completed in person. With access to the workspace at all times, my students can add their questions at any time. I also keep track of tricky topics and make sure to continually practice these until they are mastered.
Learning is not only about what you know, but how you FEEL when studying. I know first-hand that having confidence in the topics is the first step to really achieving. Hence, my main focus is to walk alongside my students so that the scary topics become a warmup run.
I am currently a 2nd year university student and have experience tutoring Year 2 - 12 over the last three years and have seen a wide variety of students come through. However, they ALL leave more confident in their capabilities and with the ability to succeed in their classes.

Cadey always seemed to go the extra mile for me! She’d answer urgent questions during her own time by making videos or writing out explanations for me until it made sense. She never made me feel judged when I was confused…she would explain a concept over and over until I felt comfortable. She was also amazing as she could think up her own examples and give me practical examples which often helped me understand even better. She’s so patient and incredibly clever…she was genuinely an incredible tutor!
