About Joshua
My name is Joshua, I am currently an Engineering Student at Stellenbosch University. I am 20 years old. I was in the top 10 at my Highschool and achieved an 81% average in my matric year.
I am interested in teaching because when I was in matric all the tutors i was at just wanted to make money out of me. I want to do things differently and actually help students who want to do well so that they can have many opportunities and reach their goals.
My goal is to help all the students achieve excellent results.

I utilise a one-on-one approach teaching style to assist my students in grasping concepts. I provide additional help through follow up tests and exercises to solidify the material covered throughout the session. Firstly, i start with fundamental concepts and establish a good base foundation in any concept, then the difficulty will be increase to a satisfactory level to ensure student excel at the work.
Secondly, I use a repetition style, by giving my students practise tests and exercises to help them practise the skills.
These tests will be scheduled, and the exercises will be given through an exclusive Google classroom to which only my student will be given access. This google classroom comes with a google drive with all the require notes and additional revision material needed to obtain good results.
I have obtained an 80%+ average in my Grade 12 year. My method of working has proved to effective in my own studies. I am looking to help students reach their full potential.
