About Yasmina
I completed the IB Diploma Program in high school, taking Biology and Chemistry at Higher Level, and earned 6/7 in both on the external exams. I’m now studying Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. I’m passionate about helping students understand science clearly and enjoy it. I’m patient, organized, and make sure my students feel supported and confident before exams.

I teach biology in a simple and practical way. My goal is to help students actually understand the material, not just memorize it. During lessons, we go over key ideas, use examples to understand the content, and work through practice questions together. I adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s level and pace so they feel comfortable and confident before tests.
