About Johneilia
I am currently a scientist pursuing my degree and I do have a love for knowledge. In addition to math, I love to read, bake and do creative things. Being a well rounded person has always allowed me to appreciate all subjects and their importance. I am also a former volleyball coach and I do still love the game. From being a coach and a former captain, I know everyone has the ability to learn.

From teaching a group as big as 25 students, I have learned that every child learns different. My goal is to teach to understand and to comprehend and securing their mathematical foundation . Understanding who a student is, helps me understand how to make learning more personal for the student. A typical lesson begins with discussing the students weaknesses and strengths. Also, figuring out the learning style that they are more receptive to then discussing current grade level issues. These are all needed to see how lessons need to be structured and what are the main points of weakness that will need to strengthened. I am able to teach up to Calculus 1 but I do have the ability to understand and do Calculus 4 and Linear Algebra.
