About Callum
ABOUT ME:
I am Callum, a third-year Law student at Somerville College, University of Oxford. Possessing a particular strength for Criminal Law, I am predicted to achieve a high 2:1 grade overall.
In terms of my academic achievements, in March 2023, I was elected JCR Academic Affairs and Careers Officer of my College, representing the academic interests of over 400 undergraduates. I am also a Student Ambassador and regularly lead tours and give presentations to visiting schools and individual students.
Outside of academia, I have a particular interest in film and TV. In 2016, I was chosen to be an extra in British horror film, 'The Girl with all the Gifts', starring Glenn Close. Furthermore, in 2018, I won 'Best Film' at the PQA Leeds Regional Film Festival with my short comedy, entitled 'Serial Problems'. I also have an interest in rugby, having been awarded a Level 1 Sports Leadership Award for my work in coaching the Year 7 rugby team at my secondary school.
