About Tazmin
I understand the stress that GCSE examinations can cause, especially with subjects such as English Literature and English Language when there is no definitive guide to what is 'right'. That is why I spent my years as a GCSE student curating techniques and resources that encouraged me to take a different approach to my exams: an approach that focused on my own understanding and interpretation of a text, rather than just following a formula. Now that I have the evidence of this method's success, I want to share it with future candidates and inspire a passion for literature in students as they see the subject as a joy- not an obligation.

I offer both online and face-to-face tutoring sessions of up to 90 minutes, using a discussion-centric method that allows the student to realise their own interpretation of a text or poem, allowing them to stand out to an examiner as a high-band candidate. These sessions are ideal for students preparing for their GCSE exams, but also can assist a student with homework or assessment prep at any secondary level.
