About Mike
I am an easy going friendly person who is always willing to help people to the best of my ability. I am a knowledgeable student who has a confident approach to explaining Maths concepts to other people. My ambitions strive high, with me aiming for top Russell Group universities such as Cambridge and LSE for Economics a highly Maths based course. As Maths has been a passion of mine through my A Levels, I would love to take this opportunity to encourage young people to realise that Maths is not impossible and in fact is easy, if taught by the right person! I aim to be that person with all my lessons.

I provide a lesson where we would address a problem or topic in Maths which my student would struggle with and carefully and systematically explain and support this to them. If anything is unclear I will spend as much time as possible trying to clarify this matter to them.
I aim to target Year 7s and above with my lessons, to refine their Maths skills ready for future exams such as GCSEs and A Levels. I am a Year 13 student whose only experience tutoring/ mentoring is being a Wellbeing Ambassador at my school Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys. At this position I help younger years understand Maths better and try to show, although sometimes a challenge, just how good of a subject Maths is!
Maths is my favourite subject at school and I have a predicted grade for A Levels of an A star. I aim to provide lessons in the range of 30 minutes to an hour.
