About Chris
I am a current undergraduate Maths student at the University of Essex. Getting to this stage in my education I have truly understood the importance of having a solid foundation in mathematical knowledge. To give students the best chance to continue forward understanding the principles behind methods will help them tackle all exam questions and give them a better standing in other subjects as maths is one of the most facilitating subjects. Additionally, after under taking maths at both GCSE and A Level I have understood and perfected exam technique and want to pass this on to others.

My lessons can take two structures. Either students can come pre prepared with questions they have struggled with in class or with homework and we work through them together or students can let me know of specific topics that they find particularly difficult in which the lesson will be spent looking at methodology and how to tackle questions with worked examples. I believe there is not one set format for successful tutoring and you must understand the students learning style and problem areas to effectively teach.
