About Nathan
A lot of times I hear people say "I'm not good at biology, or maths, or..." but the more I listen to their stories, it seems a common root of the issue is to do with the teacher.
I tutor because I believe that those who are struggling with a particular topic or concept or subject is not because of a lack in ability. Rather it is the lack of good teachers that can explain and engage the topic with the student in a way that they understand.
This is why I tutor and why I am successful at tutoring because I enable students to enable themselves.

I have been teaching privately for over 3 years and have never encountered an unsatisfied student whatever the level. I like to deliver my lessons at the pace of the students whilst giving them a gentle nudge. I think it's important for students to have responsibility and ownership over their learning as it helps them engage with the lesson and topic much better! I measure progress not just by grades, but by how confident a student feels as confidence is such an important currency in exams and most certainly helps boost grades as well.
Lesson length can vary from 1-1.5 hours.
