About Amelie
I am a current medical student with a merit scholarship in Mathematics. My academic passions are Maths, Biology, Chemistry and English Language. I achieved 6A*s, 3As and 2 Bs at GCSE including A*s in Maths, Numeracy, Chemistry and Biology with an A in English Language having also achieved a distinction in Level 2 Additional Maths. This led me on to A-Level Biology, Maths, Chemistry, English Language and the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales. I achieved 3As and 2Bs with the As in Biology, Maths and the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales. I completed my qualifications through the WJEC exam board, but have familiarised myself with all British exam boards. I am happy to work with students of any ability to help them achieve their potential. I assisted an English teacher during classes with students from year 7 to 11 to improve my communication and interactions of all ages including working with some students with ALN on a 1-2-1 basis helping from basic reading skills up to improving GCSE students' analyses of texts. I have helped a number of students in my cohort with their Maths exams at GCSE and A-Level all of whom passed and I began doing the same with Biology.

I create session plans based on the individual students' learning style and where they would benefit from improvement most. I try to approach each student with empathy and hope to build rapport having recently been through the education system, whilst ensuring progress is made during each session. I completed my qualifications through the WJEC exam board, but have familiarised myself with all British exam boards. I am happy to work with students of any ability to help them achieve their potential. I really hope to build a strong relationship with any students I tutor and with their parents as we work towards the shared goal of achieving every child's potential.
