STATISTICS:
1. Introduction to Statistics:
-Discuss the importance of statistics in various fields and real-world applications
-Define key terms such as population, sample, variable, data, and distribution
2. Descriptive Statistics:
-Teach various measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode) and measures of dispersion (range, variance, standard deviation)
-Demonstrate how to organize and summarize data using frequency distribution tables, histograms, and scatter plots
3. Probability:
-Cover basic concepts of probability theory, including probability distributions and the rules of probability
-Introduce important probability distributions such as the normal distribution and binomial distribution
4. Inferential Statistics:
-Discuss hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and the process of making inferences about populations based on sample data
-Provide examples of practical applications of inferential statistics in research studies and data analysis
5. Data Analysis:
-Provide hands-on practice with real-life data sets to apply statistical techniques learned in class
6. Evaluating and Communicating Results:
-Guide students on how to interpret statistical results and draw meaningful conclusions
