About Brooke
I am currently studying in England for my A levels. I achieved grade 9 at GCSE and am predicted an A* for my A level so basic music theory is almost a second language to me! I hope to help you learn faster by sharing the skills that have been successful for me.

I will teach up to grade 5 level. I vividly remember feeling entirely lost when theory was first introduced to me through a very formulaic teaching method. I believe it is important that theory is taught in conjunction with it's place in real music not simply through repetition of exercises (although that inevitably plays a part). My aim is to provide a musical understanding that won't just serve to pass an exam but that will equally give you a deeper understanding of the building blocks of music.
