About William
I’m Will, about to finish my first year at Oxford University, studying English Language and Literature.
When not in Oxford I live in Scotland, near Glasgow, though I was originally born in England, so don’t have much of a Scottish accent.
I love reading (as you can probably tell), and my other interests and hobbies include music - I sort of play piano and I’m obsessed with Florence + the Machine, Beyoncé, Lorde, Leonard Cohen (the list goes on). Other than that, I love coffee, my friends, and watching terrible shows on Netflix.

Hi there! I’m William (but you can call me Will) and I’m a current undergraduate studying English language and literature at the university of Oxford. I have a fervent passion for all things literature, and so my subsequent tutoring reach is broad. I offer tutoring in both literature and language, in which I work with people to develop their skills in critical analysis, essay writing, approaches to exams, approaching unseen literature, and approaching literary criticism, theory, and philosophy. I tutor at any level up to and including A-Level, Advanced Higher, and college. I take a friendly and informal, person-centred, individualised approach to tutoring and learning, and hope to provide a space through which to explore the vastness of discovery which the study of English has to offer. I also offer tutoring and aid in the process of university admissions, particularly to those applying to Russell Group universities and Oxbridge.
