About Abiola
I am a final year PhD student in molecular biology, I also teach part time at my university. I am very patient and willing to explain and use effective tools till my students get it right. In my spare time, I love to write and watch movies.

My approach is to use real life examples and visual aids as this is how students remember the best. I get to know my students first so I can personalise my teaching for them. My lessons are always fun and interesting and I enjoy when I'm asked questions. For shy students who are not very comfortable asking questions when they aren't clear on a topic, I usually incorporate rapid fire games so I know exactly where to touch on again. Biology can get confusing, the human body itself is a complex system so I ensure that my students understand the basics and build up from here. I utilise the blended learning method which encourages students to learn on their own and class participation.
