I am an education major with a focus on English. I'm already learning how to properly teach and this is just more practice before I actually go into the field. I enjoy helping others and talking about the English subject. Especially when it comes to literature. I am very passionate about the subject and about helping students. All I really want to do is help.

I am very gentle and patient. I will help guide you to the right answers, but will not give you the answers. I believe in positive reinforcement and affirmations. I want to be someone you can feel safe enough to ask for help. I have had problems with asking for help in the past and I don't wish that for anyone.
Typically, I follow what you're currently learning in your class. At the beginning of each session, I will ask you what you're learning about in your class and follow suit. I will also ask how long you're expecting this specific lesson will go.
I am primarily a tutor for high school and college students. I can help younger students, but that is not my primary focus.
