About Kian
I am an 18 year old economics student currently attending SFU. I love talking to my students and learning about their lives to build a strong connection. I was a peer tutor throughout high school which helped me understand what younger students need from a teacher. I am very experienced in zoom and other remote learning techniques, no more annoying technical difficulties that we have all faced during the transition to remote learning!

Our first lesson is free, it consists of a conversation between the student / parents to understand what they wish to get out of my service. As a younger tutor I both have a better understanding of the new curriculums and I can better relate with the student, fostering a relationship of respect and care. By creating a strong relationship with my students I can better understand what their needs are and how to help them achieve their goals.
