About Ben
I studied Spanish and French at university and spent my year abroad split between Bordeaux and Argentina. Upon finishing my degree, I trained to teach through the Teach First programme in Sunderland. I have experience working with pupils of all abilities, and from a wide range of contexts. I aim to help students to maximise their potential and help them achieve the highest results they can.

GCSE: - Lessons will be based around preparing pupils for the four elements of GCSE examination - with a particular focus on speaking and writing. Retrieval, modelling and lots of opportunities to practise are staples of the lessons. - lessons will typically last 55 minutes. - I have been a Spanish teacher and Head of Department in secondary schools for 5 years now and one of my main strengths is ensuring pupils maximise their knowledge in exam settings. - Lessons are mainly aimed at GCSE pupils, however I do also have experience teaching A-level.
