About Julia
Hi, I'm Julia Schena, a biology major on the pre-med track at Denison University and a member of the track and field team, where I compete in the heptathlon. As both a student-athlete and aspiring physician, I've developed strong time management, discipline, and problem-solving skills that I bring to everything I do.
Originally from Massachusetts, I'm passionate about helping others succeed, whether that's through tutoring, mentoring, or simply being someone people can count on. I enjoy making challenging subjects more approachable and believe that patience, encouragement, and clear communication are key to building confidence.
Outside of academics and athletics, I'm an environmental sustainability enthusiast and a huge dog lover. I enjoy connecting with people, taking on new challenges, and continuously learning and growing. My goal is to make a positive impact on those around me, both inside and outside the classroom.
