About Shreeja
I am adaptable and patient, ready to listen to the student's needs so that I can customise my lessons to suit their requirements. If a student feels there is a specific topic they need to work on, I will spend as many lessons as needed working with them on that topic until they feel confident. I am also good at assessing a student's ability and spotting any weaknesses. I will ensure that a student is confident with all topics, no matter how big or small, so that no question comes as a surprise to them in exams. I have always loved Maths, and am keen to pass on this passion to my students. Too many students view Maths as a subject where you must memorise the steps needed to solve a problem. I help my students understand the reasoning behind the steps to a problem, making the subject both more interesting and easier to understand. I am always ready to answer any questions my students have. There is no such thing as a 'stupid' question.

I offer 1 hour maths lessons tailored to students of all abilities, up to and including GCSE Level. I tutor both foundation and higher tier GCSE maths. I am familiar with all GCSE Maths specifications, so I am able to tailor my lessons to the student's exam board. I personalise each of my lessons to target each of my student's weaknesses. I not only teach my students the most effective problem-solving methods for the different types of problems they will encounter, but I also strive to help them understand why these methods work. This style of teaching helps my students to gain confidence, so that they are able to solve problems in a variety of contexts.
